We’re recognized leaders in new technology and innovative manufacturing techniques. And our partnerships with OEM suppliers raise the bar even higher. Visit our booth at NAPT, and we’ll show you the latest and greatest Thomas Built innovations.
Come discover new ways to improve fuel efficiency and overall performance. Let us show the future of fleet management. And ultimately, see firsthand how you can achieve a lower total cost of ownership. After all, what truly drives our innovation is you, our customers.
Here’s what you can expect to see at the Thomas Built Buses booth.
Fuel of Choice
Trying to decide which fuels will work best for your fleet? Come check out our Propane Saf-T-Liner® C2, Diesel Saf-T-Liner® HDX, Propane Minotour® and, brand new this year, the Compressed Natural Gas Saf-T-Liner® C2, powered by a Cummins ISB-G 200-260 horsepower engine and an Allison 2300 transmission. We also will display the PIthon propane autogas engine from Powertrain Integration and an Allison transmission so you can take an up-close look at what’s under the hood.
Cost-Saving Transmission Technology Available Now
Thomas Built Buses staff and Allison Transmission representatives will be on hand to discuss the basic Allison Transmission FuelSense™ system, which is now standard equipment on Saf-T-Liner C2, Saf-T-Liner EFX and Saf-T-Liner HDX school buses, as well as FuelSense Plus™ and FuelSense Max™, which are available now. This groundbreaking technology helps drivers maintain optimal engine speed, better manage shift points and improve vehicle performance, all of which should help you maximize fuel savings.
Thomas Built is also excited about our partnership with Zonar® Systems, and we’ll be demonstrating our new factory-installed telematics solution. This is the most comprehensive telematics product on the market, designed to provide valuable insight and information on your fleet, so you can increase fleet efficiency and lower costs. Do not miss this demonstration.”
