Thomas Built Launches New Web Site

Improved Functionality Enhances User Experience

High Point, N.C. – Thomas Built Buses has completely redesigned its Web site, www.thomasbus.com, adding a new look, improved functionality and additional content. Current and potential Thomas customers will find the new site easier to navigate, faster to download and filled with more detailed product information.

“Our customers fall into three primary groups,” said Allan Haggai, manager of marketing programs for Thomas Built Buses, “so we’ve organized our products section to meet the needs of those interested in school buses, activity buses and child-care buses.”

In each customer category, users can review the interior and exterior features of appropriate buses, view a photo gallery and download documents with detailed specifications. The site highlights all of Thomas’ bus products, including the Type A Minotour®, Type C Saf-T-Liner® C2 and Type D Saf-T-Liner® EF and HDX transit buses.

In addition to product information, there is a dealer locator tool and sections on parts, service and financing. The “Inside Thomas Built Buses” segment contains information on school bus safety (including a crash test video), a listing of upcoming bus shows where Thomas buses will be displayed, a downloadable newsletter, information for parents and a school bus safety coloring book for children.

Celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, Thomas Built Buses (www.thomasbus.com) is the leading manufacturer of school buses in North America, with more than one-third of the market. Since the first Thomas Built bus rolled off the assembly line in 1936, the company has focused entirely on delivering the smartest, safest and most innovative buses in North America.

Thomas Built Buses is a member of Freightliner LLC, the largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer in North America and a leading manufacturer of class 3-8 vehicles.
