Thomas Built Buses Honors 2014 Dealer Trainer of the Year

Trace Tolby of Auto Safety House is Named National Winner

High Point, N.C. – April 27, 2015 – Thomas Built Buses recognized the top dealer trainers of 2014 at its annual dealer meeting in Washington, D.C. on April 18, 2015. Thomas Built Manager for Service Education and the Center for Education, Michael Stotler, presented the 2014 Thomas Dealer Trainer of the Year award to Trace Tolby of Auto Safety House.

Tolby was recognized for providing hands-on service maintenance and training to his customers in Arizona. Tolby has been with Auto Safety House for the past five years and also serves on the board for the Rocky Mountain Fleet Manager Association. He has been a two-time regional winner for Dealer Trainer of the Year.

Thomas Built Buses’ Train the Trainer program was developed to provide local technician training opportunities to customers. Through the program, Thomas Built technician trainers actually train dealers across the country, giving all customers local access to expert trainers, hands-on experiences and current information. Since its inception in 2009, nearly 40,000 technicians have been trained through the program.

“The dealers who are involved in the Train the Trainer program are delivering in very big ways this year,” said Stotler. “Trace is a great example of how powerful this training program can be. His commitment to training his customers and their technicians about Thomas Built Buses is a true testament to his dedication every day.”

The Thomas Built Buses Dealer Trainer of the Year award winner was selected from five regional winners who have demonstrated outstanding training opportunities to their customers during the past year.
